A number of special resources enrich students’ experiences studying arts management at Richmond.

Modlin Center for the Arts
The Modlin Center is host to world-class facilities, attractions and exhibitions. Students have unique opportunities to engage in performances, lectures and workshops with visiting artists.

University Museums
The University of Richmond Museums comprises the Joel and Lila Harnett Museum of Art, the Joel and Lila Harnett Print Study Center, and the Lora Robins Gallery of Design from Nature.

The New York Times
The Times is the premiere resource for arts information and is required reading for some classes in the curriculum. The Times features stories and articles directly related and discussed in the classroom.

ArtsJournal

Required reading for most classes in the curriculum, ArtsJournal.com is a digest of some of the best arts and cultural journalism in the English-speaking world. Each day ArtsJournal features links to stories culled from more than 200 English-language newspapers, magazines and publications featuring writing about arts and culture.

GuideStar is an essential research tool for anyone studying non-profit management. It provides easy access to information about non-profit organizations, their leadership and financial information. This allows students to collect and analyze data for projects in class, as well as give them perspective on the complex world of non-profits.
