Experiential Learning

Richmond students are fortunate to have many opportunities to complement their classroom experience with experiential learning opportunities. Through research and the internship component, arts management students discover the richness of the field through a close-up lens.

Internships

Students often take on an internship between their sophomore and junior year or between their junior and senior years. In rare instances, students are permitted to do their internship during a fall or spring semester. Using the vast network of museums and arts organizations in the Richmond area and beyond, program directors work with each student to optimize their internship experience.
